Pumpkin Patch

Visit a nearby pumpkin patch and get to picking! Most pumpkin patches offer hayrides, corn mazes, petting farms and more! Additionally pumpkin patches make the best backdrops, so dress your best for family photos. Here are some tips for taking your own family photos while on vacation.

Day trip to Julian

Julian is a quaint mountain town located in the Cuyamaca Mountains, 53 miles from Del Mar. Stop for the infamous apple pie and soak up the rich history of this charming gold mining town.

Get Spooked

Southern California is full of amusement parks, and this October they are turning spooky! Grab your costumes and get ready for LEGOLAND® Brick-or-Treat, HowlOScream at Seaworld and HalGLOWeen at the San Diego Zoo.

Pick your pumpkins from the patch and celebrate with a family pumpkin carving night at your home away from home! Book your stay and escape to San Diego this fall to immerse yourself in festivals, spooktacular events and more.
